To calculate how much carpet you need:

1. Choose your carpet size. It will be available in a standard width.

2. To determine how many linear feet you need, add up the length and width of your booth or room, and then add an extra foot for cutting. If your exhibit booth is 20’ long and 20’ wide, for example, you will need 41 linear feet of carpet.

3. Multiply the width of the carpet you are ordering by the number of linear feet you need. To continue the example from Step 2, if you ordered 12’-wide carpet, you would multiple 12 by 41 to get 492.

4. Divide the number from Step 3 by 9 to determine how many square yards of carpet you need to order.
